I'm Matthew Kanomata, owner and lead artisan at Aoki Collective. For as long as I can remember, building and creating has been one of my main obsessions in life. Growing up on a farm, my dad's little shop was the only place I wanted to be. From the early days of crafting, my passion for woodworking blossomed into a lifelong love.

 Today, Aoki Collective is a small woodworking studio based in Fresno, CA and surrounding areas. We specialize in made-to-order, custom wood furniture and cabinetry and installations. 

Our goal is to create timeless, heirloom pieces built to last a lifetime, with a heavy focus on design. We only source the highest quality wood and materials from our local suppliers.
